In short

Respect the people you talk to. No scams, threats, harassment or exploitation.
Zero tolerance for sexual content involving anyone under 18. We remove it and report it to the authorities.
Never share intimate images of anyone without consent.
Never send money to someone you have not met in person. If someone asks, report them.
Breaking these rules can get your account suspended or closed.

Who these rules cover

Everyone, everywhere on JaiTalk, including what you ask the translator or the AI character to do. These rules are part of the Terms.

What is not allowed

Scams and money requests: romance fraud, investment or crypto schemes, fake jobs or prizes, and asking for money, gift cards, card details, passwords or codes.
Harassment, threats and hate: threats, repeated unwanted contact, blackmail or sextortion, attacks on people for who they are (such as race, religion, sex, sexuality, disability or age), and encouraging self-harm.
Sexual content involving anyone under 18, including drawn, edited or AI-made content, and any attempt to groom or sexually contact a child. JaiTalk is for adults only.
Intimate images without consent: sharing or threatening to share them, including fakes made with AI, and sending sexual content or exposing yourself to someone who has not agreed.
Impersonating anyone, including JaiTalk, or using someone else's photos.
Illegal content and goods, terrorism or violent extremism, other people's private information, and copyright infringement.
Malware, phishing and spam, including mass invites.
Recording or tracking people without their consent, unless the law allows it, for example to report a crime.
Misusing JaiTalk: tricking the translator or the AI character into harmful output, getting around limits (for example with extra accounts), and copying, reselling, attacking, scraping or botting JaiTalk.

Stay safe from scams

Be wary of sudden emergencies, secrecy, or someone who can never meet or show their face. Video and voice can be faked. Lost money? Call your bank, then report it: in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to Report Fraud (0300 123 2040), in Scotland to the police on 101, in Thailand to the Anti Online Scam Operation Center on 1441 or thaipoliceonline.go.th, in the US to the FTC.

What happens if someone breaks the rules

A person reviews every report. Depending on how serious and repeated it is, we take no action, remove messages (shown as "Removed by JaiTalk" to both people), suspend the account, or close it and refuse a new one. Child sexual abuse material is removed immediately, the account closed and the material reported to the authorities, such as the National Crime Agency in the UK and NCMEC in the US. We tell the police where the law requires it or someone's safety is at risk. We tell the person affected why, and they can appeal: see Complaints and reporting.

How to report and block

A message: press and hold it, then Report. A person: Report in the chat header. A call: Report on the call summary.
Block from the chat header or your contacts. They cannot message, call or re-invite you, and are not told.
