In short
- How to delete your JaiTalk account (app by BT LABS LTD) and its data.
- In the app: Settings, Account, Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
- Can't sign in? Email us and we delete it within 30 days. A few records are kept for a limited time.
In the app
- Sign in at live.jaitalk.com or in the Android app.
- To keep a copy, choose Settings, Account, Download my data (a JSON file).
- Choose Settings, Account, Delete my account, and confirm. You are signed out on every device.
By email
Email patryk@btlabs.co.uk, from your account's address if you can, with "Delete my account", how you signed in and your display name. We check the account is yours, without ever asking for your password. We delete it and confirm by email within 30 days.
What is deleted
Your account, profile, contacts, blocks, invites, devices, sessions, photos and files, your Clerk sign-in account, and anything we received from Google, Facebook or LINE. Your messages and call transcripts are erased from both people's chats and show as deleted. What the other person sent stays in their chat.
What is kept

We keep more only if the law requires, such as a police request to preserve evidence. Deleting your account stops any paid plan renewing.
Delete one chat instead
In the chat header, choose Delete chat history. It deletes that chat's messages, transcripts and photos for both people. See also the Privacy Notice.
